Transportation Information

CCA transports elementary age children to and from Collierville Elementary, Tara Oaks Elementary, and Crosswind Elementary schools and on field trips using 66 seat passenger buses.

Our drivers are required to: 

1.    Be licensed by the State of Tennessee, with a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), “B” Class, with a “P” Endorsement.

2.    All Collierville Christian Academy staff who are responsible for driving our Center vehicles at any time for the transportation of children at Collierville Christian Academy will provide us with an annual health statement based upon an examination of the individual.  This health statement will be signed by the examining licensing physician, licensed psychologist, licensed clinician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician’s Assistant, verifying that the individual is physically, mentally and emotionally capable in all respects of safely and appropriately providing transportation for children enrolled at Collierville Christian Academy.  All persons shall have a drug screen prior to the assumption of duties of transportation.

Prior to assuming their duties, all CCA staff responsible, or who may in the course of their duties become responsible, at any time, for transporting children (including drivers and monitors) shall have completed CCA’s pre-service transportation training.
